A Grand Celebration of Children’s Literature
Lucknow – The much-awaited Lucknow Book Fair is all set to commence on March 1 at Ravindralaya Charbagh Lawn, promising an exciting literary and cultural experience. This nine-day literary extravaganza will be held in a new and vibrant format, with the central theme being ‘Bal Sahitya’ (Children’s Literature).
With free entry for all, the fair aims to provide a unique platform for book lovers, authors, publishers, and students to come together and celebrate literature. The event will not only feature book discussions but also a series of poetry festivals, spiritual and theatrical performances, dance, and musical shows, ensuring a blend of knowledge and entertainment.
A Special Focus on Children’s Literature
This year’s fair will highlight the importance of children’s literature, catering to young minds with a variety of engaging events such as storytelling sessions, book readings, author meet-ups, and interactive workshops. Special emphasis will be placed on fostering reading habits among children and young adults.
A major highlight will be the Bal Sahitya Pustak Mela, an exclusive book exhibition dedicated to children’s literature. Schools and educational institutions from across Lucknow will participate, making it a valuable opportunity for students to explore books tailored to their age and interests.
