LUCKNOW – A tragic incident has rocked the Lucknow Police department as Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Satyendra Verma allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his room. The incident has come to light following shocking allegations made by the officer’s family regarding a digital relationship turned sour.
The Instagram Connection
According to the deceased officer’s family, Satyendra had befriended a girl named Vaidik Mishra on Instagram approximately one and a half years ago. The friendship reportedly evolved into a serious relationship, with both parties initially expressing a desire to marry.
Allegations of Betrayal and Extortion
The family further revealed that the situation took a dark turn when Vaidik Mishra allegedly backed out of the marriage proposal, citing family pressure. Following the breakup, the family claims she began harassing the ASI.
