Ayodhya: As soon as Ramlala was seated in the grand temple, the economy of Ayodhya residents has got new wings of progress. Business is growing by leaps and bounds with the arrival of devotees and tourists. Businesses ranging from hoteliers, prasad traders to tour and travels have flourished.

Ayodhya is changing rapidly since 2017. Ayodhya became famous on the global stage only after the first Deepotsav under the leadership of Yogi government and after the Pran Pratishtha of Ramlala, the prosperity of the people of King Ram is increasing. Today, devotees from across the country and abroad are reaching Ayodhya. Apart from local shopkeepers, others have also benefited from this.

After the construction of Ram temple, the economy of Ayodhya, which was dependent only on fairs, has gained wings. A large number of people have got employment.

Employment and self-employment opportunities generated: 1,000 people have been given employment by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. They also get the facility of PF and gratuity along with salary. A line of shops has been set up near Maharishi Valmiki International Airport. While the construction of the temple has given wings to the business of hotels and hundreds of homestays, small businesses are also flourishing. People are earning 500 to 800 rupees daily by buying Ramlala’s photo, locket, pen, water bottle, sandalwood on the forehead.

Big hotels, malls and restaurants have opened: After the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya, the path of development has been paved. When new roads were built, transportation increased. Big shopping complexes opened. Multiplex theatres and many exclusive showrooms of branded clothes have also opened. This has increased the means of employment for the local people of Ayodhya.

Along with this, the path of self-employment has also been paved on a large scale. Hotel businessman Anchal Kumar Gupta says that the Pran Pratishtha of Ramlala has given life to the business. Even the smallest businessman is earning well with the blessings of Ramlala.

Business shines with the arrival of tourists: Hotel operator Laxmikant Pandey says that it has become possible to do business only after Ramlala has been seated in the grand temple. People are coming continuously and this is why our hotel business has shined. During Deepotsav, rooms are booked 2 months in advance.

Devotees will increase more after Deepotsav: Laddu trader Chanchal Gupta said that the number of devotees has increased after Pran Pratishtha, which is benefiting us. Ayodhya has emerged as the biggest tourist destination not only in the country but also in the state and this is the reason that even after Deepotsav, the number of devotees and tourists coming here will increase.

Increased daily income: Manager of Tourist Yatri Niwas Naveen Mishra said that after Pran Pratishtha, there has been a huge increase in the number of devotees, which is benefiting the traders. Their daily income has also increased.
