Lucknow: Former Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Dinesh Sharma has been appointed election in-charge of Maharashtra by BJP. Dr. Sharma is known for his election management, organizational ability, dedication to the party and political foresight.
48 MPs are to be elected from Maharashtra and BJP’s target is also to cross 400 at the national level. Dr. Sharma is also currently the national coordinator of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Vistarak Yojana and is playing his role in fulfilling PM Modi’s target of crossing 400.
Dr. Dinesh Sharma has been in-charge of Gujarat state, along with being the National Vice President, he was also the coordinator of the Membership Campaign. In which a world record of membership was created and BJP became the largest party in the world in terms of membership. Dr. Dinesh Sharma was mayor twice and won the Lucknow elections with a record number of votes. Later he did notable work as Deputy Chief Minister of the state and Leader of the House.
It is noteworthy that BJP has set a target of winning all 80 Lok Sabha seats of Uttar Pradesh. BJP has made its national vice president Baijayant Jai Panda the Lok Sabha election in-charge of Uttar Pradesh. The party has appointed three co-in-charges to help him in election management.
