Bareilly: District Magistrate/District Election Officer Ravindra Kumar took stock of the ongoing preparations at the dispatch and receiving center of polling parties for the Lok Sabha General Election-2024 at Uttar Pradesh State Warehousing Corporation, Parsakheda.
During the inspection, instructions were given to install assembly wise signage boards near all the gates, so that the polling personnel do not face any problem in getting EVMs etc. Besides, information was also given that VVPATs should not be kept in the sun.
After this, the District Election Officer also took stock of the arrangements of CCTV camera control room etc., where all the arrangements were found appropriate. At the time of inspection, instructions were given to the Additional District Magistrate (V/R)/Deputy District Election Officer that on whatever barriers are installed, it should also be written that crossing the barrier is prohibited and whatever work related to the election remained incomplete. It must be completed on time.
At the time of inspection, Additional District Magistrate Administration Dinesh, Additional District Magistrate (V./R.)/Deputy District Election Officer Santosh Bahadur Singh, Additional District Magistrate City Saurabh Dubey, Superintendent of Police City Rahul Bhati and other concerned officers were present.
