Bareilly: District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar did surprise inspection of various sections/desks of Collectorate office yesterday.
The District Magistrate inspected the offices of Nyaya Sahayak, Petroleum Sahayak, Local Body and Angal Archives etc. and gave necessary instructions regarding proper maintenance of records and registers, creating a better environment for work in the office and getting the work related to the general public done promptly etc.
During the inspection, the District Magistrate instructed the LBC that all the applications received for income and caste certificate must be recorded in the register and it should also be noted when it was issued by the concerned tehsil.
During the inspection, it was found that the papers related to petrol pump NOC have not been maintained properly, on which the District Magistrate expressed displeasure and directed to take action against the concerned. It was also found during the inspection that the applications received from the commission are not being entered properly, on which instructions were also given to take action against the desk assistant.
During the inspection, the Nagar Palika assistant was instructed to prepare a letter stating how much money has been sanctioned in 2023-24 for each municipal body. During the inspection, all the employees including City Magistrate Rajiv Kumar Shukla were present.
