District Magistrate calls for quick redressal of complaints

A total of 737 cases were received in Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas in all five tehsils of the district, 150 cases were resolved on the spot

Lucknow. District Magistrate  Surya Pal Gangwar said that Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas were organized in all five tehsils of the district. The District Magistrate said that resolving the complaints of the general public at the local level is the priority of the government, in order to which Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas is organized in tehsils and police stations. In this, local citizens can attend and get their problems resolved.

The District Magistrate said that all the officers should ensure that these complaints of the public are resolved promptly and in a timely manner within a week. He said that if there is any problem in resolving the complaints, then it should be ensured that the reason is made clear and the complaint is informed.

He said that the senior officers should go to the spot and investigate the complaints received in the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas and ensure their quality redressal and if it comes to notice that the complainant is not satisfied with the quality of redressal or negligence has been committed in redressal, then punitive action will be taken against the concerned.

Surya Pal Gangwar informed that a total of 180 cases were received in the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas organized in Tehsil Malihabad, out of which 68 cases were resolved on the spot. The remaining cases were made available to the concerned departments for redressal with the instruction that their redressal should be ensured within a week.

He informed that in today’s Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas, 04 out of 54 cases were resolved in Tehsil Sadar, 68 out of 180 cases were resolved in Tehsil Malihabad, 38 out of 175 cases were resolved in Tehsil BKT, 29 out of 219 cases were resolved in Tehsil Mohanlalganj and 11 out of 109 cases were resolved on the spot in Tehsil Sarojininagar. The remaining cases were made available to the concerned departments for timely disposal. Today, 125 applications were received from Police, 08 from Revenue and Police Joint, 362 from Revenue, 56 from Development, 02 from Education, 30 from Social Welfare, 00 from Medical and 154 from others in the district.

During the Samadhan Diwas, the District Magistrate directed all the district level officers that such cases which come up repeatedly in Tehsil Diwas and Jan Sunwai should be taken cognizance of seriously and if the case is solvable, it should be ensured that it is resolved immediately. All officers should change the working system of their offices and make such arrangements that the complainant does not have to come to the office again for the same complaint.

On this occasion, Additional District Magistrate Nagar Purvi  Amit Kumar, Sub-District Magistrate Tehsil Malihabad  Saurabh Singh, Tehsildar Malihabad, Police, Social Welfare and officers/employees of various levels were present.
