The DGP (Director General of Police) of Uttar Pradesh Police held a video conferencing (VC) to discuss the law and order of the state, upcoming festivals, and preparations for the police recruitment exam. ADG (Additional Director General) LO Amitabh Yash, ADGs, CPs, IGs, DIGs and SSPs and SPs of all districts attended this video conferencing.
Preparation for festivals and law and order:
During the VC, the DGP reviewed the security arrangements for the upcoming festivals like Rakshabandhan and Nag Panchami. He ensured that the deployment of police force is done with strict security measures during the festivals to ensure public safety and avoid any kind of unpleasant situation.
Instructions on redressal of public grievances:
The DGP also gave instructions regarding quick redressal of public grievances. He ordered the police officers to hear the complaints and resolve them on priority basis, so that the confidence of the general public can be maintained and any kind of problem can be resolved quickly.
Review of preparations for police recruitment exam:
During the VC, the preparations for the police recruitment exam were also reviewed. The DGP ensured that all the arrangements for the examination are smooth and transparent, and there should be no hindrance in the conduct of the examination.
Guidelines to officers:
In the video conferencing, the DGP gave necessary guidelines to all the officers. He said that the police force should be fully prepared to deal with any situation and coordination should be maintained at all levels.
Through this video conferencing, the DGP gave necessary guidelines to the police officers to remain alert during the festivals and strengthen the law and order. Along with this, he appealed to the police chiefs of all the districts to maintain constant dialogue and monitoring so that the security situation in the state remains better and strong.
