Planting trees on a large scale is the need of the hour

Lucknow: Shahid Manzar Abbas Rizvi I.A.S. at a plantation ceremony held in the city stressed on planting trees on a large scale to combat pollution and said that this is the need of the hour. Understanding its importance, our Prime Minister  Narendra Modi has said that every person should plant at least one tree in the name of his mother.Our government of Uttar Pradeshis working very seriously on tree plantation, leading in this matter and is taking plantation drive on a large scale. Plantation is also being promoted internationally.

With the joint efforts of Tauhidul Muslimeen Trust and Jan Kalyan Sewa Sansthan, a tree planting program was organized  in the premises of the Jama Masjid in Thakurganj under the supervision of Zaigham Abbas. ShahidManzar Abbas Rizvi IAS participated and planted saplings as the Chief Guest.

On this occasion, Secretary of Tauhidul Muslimeen Trust  Najmul Hasan Rizvi said that as far as possible, every individual should plant as many trees as possible so that the environment remains clean and global warming can be controlled. He said that every child must plant one plant in or around his house.

Raghwender Mishra of Jan Kalyan Sewa Sansthan has told that plantation is in public interest and our organization is dedicated in saving this earth. Together with the Trust, we will organize a large-scale plantation programme across the city. Students of the various schools shall be included so that this campaign can reach the people

On this occasion  Ameer Ahmad Zaidi, Senior Journalist  Kulsum Talha, Social activist Mrs. & Mr. Sharma,  Zaigham Abbas,  Ainul Raza, Waqr Rizvi and apart from various dignitaries, Principal, teachers and students of New St. John’s School in large number also participated and cooperated by planting saplings.
