Lucknow: As part of the ongoing efforts to maintain law and order in the city, the Lucknow Police, under the direction of Commissioner of Police IPS Amarendra Singh Sengar, is actively conducting inspections and ensuring enhanced vigilance across various locations. In a recent development, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) West, Omvir Singh, carried out a detailed inspection of the Andhe Ki Chowki within the Kotwali Dubagga area of Lucknow.
During the inspection, DCP Singh provided clear and necessary instructions to the in-charge of Andhe Ki Chowki, emphasizing the importance of maintaining security and readiness. Following this, he visited the cracker market situated in the village of Amethia Salempur, also part of the Kotwali Dubagga jurisdiction. Ensuring the safety of the market, he thoroughly checked the security equipment being used by the cracker traders and gave further instructions to the police personnel for regular patrolling and security checks.
DCP Singh also led a foot patrol with the Kotwali Dubagga police force to enhance their visibility and connection with the community. As part of the patrol, 112 vehicles were checked to ensure compliance with safety standards. Moreover, the office of the Assistant Police Commissioner of Kakori, located in the Dubagga Sabzi Mandi, was inspected as well. The inspection was aimed at reviewing the functioning of the office and providing guidance to the present officers and staff.
In addition, the police force stationed at Kotwali Dubagga was given specific instructions to remain vigilant, particularly during night hours, to maintain peace and order in the area. DCP Singh’s inspection and the directives issued during this campaign underscore the Lucknow Police’s commitment to ensuring safety and security in the city, especially in light of upcoming festivities and the increased need for proactive policing.
