Lucknow: In a demonstration of their promptness and dedication, the Hussainganj Police and the Chowki Purana Qila carried out a remarkable rescue operation in the early hours of the morning. A mentally challenged woman, who had climbed a peepal tree, was successfully rescued after several hours of concerted efforts.
The incident began around 3 a.m. when the woman was first spotted on the tree. Despite the darkness and challenging conditions, Kila Chowki Incharge Awadhesh Yadav and Diwan Vinay Singh took swift action, coordinating a rescue mission with the help of the fire brigade. Through their timely response, they managed to mobilize the necessary resources and personnel to ensure a safe rescue.
The operation, which lasted until approximately 7 a.m., involved not only the expertise of the police officers but also the skilled efforts of the fire brigade team. After continuous efforts, they were finally able to bring the woman down from the tree unharmed.
In a compassionate gesture, the police provided the distressed woman with water, tea, and breakfast, showcasing their humane approach toward her welfare.
