Noida: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (UPCM Yogi) conducted a field inspection of the construction works of Noida International Airport being built in Jewar of Gautam Buddha Nagar district. He directed to complete the construction works of the International Airport in a time-bound and quality manner. On this occasion, he observed the progress of various works being carried out there and also gave necessary guidelines.
The Chief Minister then held a review meeting with the officials of the District Administration, Yamuna Authority and the company constructing the airport regarding the ongoing construction works. He directed that in case of any problem in the construction work of the airport, it should be resolved by informing the government level. The Chief Minister said that in the villages where there is a problem in acquiring land for the construction work of Noida International Airport, the senior officials of the district, along with the public representatives, should establish a dialogue with the villagers and resolve their problems.
Land acquisition work should be completed in a systematic manner. In the land acquisition work, the officers should take special care that no outsider should be able to mislead the villagers regarding land acquisition. He said that UPEIDA has a lot of experience in land acquisition. Officials should take advantage of their experience for land acquisition for Noida International Airport.
Stressing on the need to pay special attention to the connectivity of Noida International Airport, the Chief Minister said that all routes should be connected to Noida International Airport. Also, by making an action plan, the work of rail, metro and other transport facilities should be completed till Noida International Airport, so that the airport can become more and more useful for the public by connecting with rail, metro and other transport facilities. He said that multi-level parking should be constructed at Noida International Airport, so that the visiting passengers do not face any inconvenience.
After this, the Chief Minister did a field inspection of the proposed program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at India Expo Mart. He also reviewed the development works being carried out in the district with public representatives and senior officials. Public representatives, senior officials of the government and administration including Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh and officials of Yamuna Authority and the companies constructing Noida International Airport were present in the meeting.
