Chauria Kurmi Samaj Mahasangh Honour Ceremony Delivers Strong Message of Unity and Social Empowerment

Itarsi (Narmadapuram), Madhya Pradesh: A state-level talent felicitation and honour ceremony organized by the Chauria Kurmi Samaj Mahasangh in Itarsi witnessed a strong call for social unity, youth empowerment, and political awareness, bringing together prominent leaders, community representatives, and distinguished guests.

The event was held to recognise outstanding contributions of intellectuals, journalists, sportspersons, and meritorious students from the community. The programme, chaired by social worker Naveen Chaure, aimed at strengthening community cohesion and encouraging youth participation in socio-political development.

Among the key dignitaries present was R. B. Singh Patel, who attended as the chief guest. Political strategist Dr. Atul Malikram joined the event virtually, while Madhya Pradesh Minister of State (Independent Charge) Lakhan Patel also graced the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, R. B. Singh Patel stressed the need for unity within the community and urged members to rise above internal divisions. Calling for collective strength, he said that social progress is possible only when differences are set aside and unity is prioritised.

“Today’s need is that we move beyond sub-caste distinctions and unite under a common identity. As long as we remain divided, comprehensive development will remain out of reach. Our real strength lies in unity,” he said, encouraging people to strengthen social harmony.

Dr. Atul Malikram, speaking virtually, highlighted the broader significance of such community initiatives. He said the felicitation programme not only promotes talent but also reflects growing political and social awareness within the community.

He further noted that increasing grassroots engagement indicates rising organisational activity in Madhya Pradesh’s socio-political landscape, suggesting that such platforms are becoming important for dialogue, outreach, and public participation.

Minister Lakhan Patel, in his address, motivated young members of the community to actively contribute to nation-building through education, discipline, and public service. He emphasized that youth empowerment is key to long-term social and national progress.

Chairman Naveen Chaure expressed gratitude to all guests and reiterated the commitment of the Chauria Kurmi Samaj Mahasangh toward continuous progress, unity, and welfare of the community. He said the organization will continue to work for talent recognition and social upliftment.
