Lucknow: The Silver Jubilee Year Celebration of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University is being celebrated from May 7, 2024 to May 8, 2025. On this occasion, three finals of badminton competition were held in the Intra University Sports Tournament in the university campus. In which in women’s singles, Prof. Arunima Verma of IET 11 defeated Monica of Cash 11 2-1 with a brilliant game.
While in the final of mixed doubles, Cash 11 defeated FOAP 11 with the brilliant game of Dr. Siddharth and Monica.
Apart from this, in the final of women’s doubles, IET 11 left Pharmacy 11 behind by 2-0. In this, Dr. Arunima Verma and Dr. Shweta defeated Anjali and Priya Arya of Pharmacy. The excitement was at its peak in all three final matches. The players sweated a lot for each point.
At the same time, in the cricket competition, a match was held between Dean 11 and Pharmacy 11. Pharmacy 11 won the toss and batted first and was all out for 65 runs in 10 overs. In reply, Dean 11 won the match by 7 wickets thanks to batsman Ritwik’s brilliant 34 runs. During this, sports coordinator Prof. OP Singh, Director of CASH Prof. Virendra Pathak, Dean UG Prof. Anurag Tripathi, and others were present.
