Speakers from public service, consulting and the corporate world will take the stage on Friday
LUCKNOW: Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus, is all set to bring back TEDx Amity University Lucknow for its second season on Friday, 16 October 2026. The event will be held at the university campus.
This year’s edition is built around the theme “From Me to We: The Power of Shared Perspectives.” The idea is to bring together people from different fields and backgrounds and explore how open conversation and shared experiences can challenge conventional thinking, inspire fresh ideas and help build a more connected world.
The afternoon will feature talks by speakers from public service, corporate strategy and technology.
From a uniform to the audit service
Among the speakers is Tania Mishra, an officer of the Indian Audit & Accounts Service and an alumna of Amity University. She secured top ranks in both the CAPF and UPSC Civil Services examinations, and her journey took her from being an Assistant Commandant in the CISF to her present role. Her talk, “From Personal Ambition to Public Impact,” will draw on that path and speak about perseverance and making purposeful career choices.
Humans and AI
Vivek Srivastava, Managing Director of Business Transformation at PwC India, will also address the audience. He has nearly two decades of global consulting experience, having worked on large-scale efficiency projects across Europe, the Middle East and the USA. His talk, “When AI Gets Agency, What Happens to Ours?”, takes up one of the biggest questions of the digital age: as artificial intelligence grows more capable, where does that leave human choice and control?
Libraries as spaces of aspiration
Anuradha Sehgal, Chief Brand & Sustainability Officer at Coforge, will speak on “The Infrastructure of Imagination.” Recognised as one of India’s top 50 marketing leaders, she is known as the creative mind behind well-remembered campaigns such as Airtel’s “Har Ek Friend Zaroori Hota Hai.” She will share insights from her long corporate career and talk about her current passion project, the Coforge Public Library Initiative, which aims to reimagine public libraries as lively spaces that nurture community aspirations.
Besides these three, the event will include talks by other speakers from diverse fields.
Invitation to the media
The university has invited members of the press and media to attend and cover the event. In its invitation, Amity University Lucknow said media coverage would help carry these ideas and stories beyond the campus to a much wider public audience.
