Among them is Ambassador Baba, whose arrival in Prayagraj in his iconic saffron-colored Ambassador car has captured the attention of many.
Ambassador Baba: A Devotee’s Lifelong Journey
Over 50 years old, Ambassador Baba hails from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and has attended four Kumbh Melas in his trusted 1972 model Ambassador. The automobile, which has been his companion for the last 30 to 35 years, is more than just a mode of transport—it represents his life’s journey. Speaking to ANI, Ambassador Baba shared, “In this automobile, I eat and sleep. It resembles my life more.” He further added that it took him a day and a half to reach Prayagraj from Indore for the event. Despite its age, the vehicle has never let him down. “This automobile doesn’t break down anywhere, and I take full care of it myself. I only have serious issues when I’m around the mechanic,” he said with a smile.
After the Maha Kumbh, Ambassador Baba plans to head to Banaras and Ganga Sagar, continuing his spiritual journey in the same iconic vehicle.
Rudraksh Baba: The Mystical Seer Adorned with 11,000 Rudrakshas
Another notable figure who has captured the public’s imagination is Rudraksh Baba, known for wearing 108 rudraksh garlands, which together total 11,000 rudrakshas weighing around 30 kg. His distinct appearance and the sheer weight of the rudrakshas he wears have made him a sensation. He explains, “I am referred to as the Rudraksh Baba. These 11,000 rudrakshas are Lord Shiva’s rudras. These have been on me for a very long time. My followers gave me these rudras as a gift.”
Rudraksh Baba’s unique identity has gained the attention of not only devotees but also social media influencers, who have been sharing videos of him wearing his impressive collection of rudrakshas. His growing popularity online is a testament to the spiritual allure he exudes, drawing people from various walks of life to witness his presence at the Mela.
