VentureVista 2026 Gives Amity Students a Taste of Real Entrepreneurship

VentureVista 2026

Lucknow: The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) at Amity University Lucknow Campus and Amity School of Communication jointly held a full-day event called “VentureVista 2026,” which was based on the concept of “from idea to impact.” This was an opportunity for many of the students to apply their knowledge from the classroom to the actual process of presenting an idea.

The opening session was an “open showcase” and featured the display of students’ ideas via poster board, prototype and digital media. After that, formal pitching sessions occurred. During the pitches, students presented to a faculty panel about their business ideas, assessed market potential, described how they would generate income for their businesses, and answered questions. As a result, this provided students with a real-life experience of presenting a business idea, as well as providing them with constructive criticism that they can use to improve their business plans.

Students were able to demonstrate many different types of ideas, including digital media startup ideas, content platform ideas, sustainable brand ideas, and technology based communication solution ideas. The student showcase allowed for students to learn from each other and make connections with each other; however, the student pitch rounds forced students to react quickly to questions asked of them and improve upon how they deliver information to an audience.

VentureVista was designed to help students of media, communication and other fields think like entrepreneurs — i.e., to use creativity, challenge assumptions, and transform raw ideas into viable business models. According to one faculty coordinator, “Events like VentureVista bridge the gap between academic theory and real world practice.” Participants were encouraged to develop their value propositions, determine what their target market really wants, and create a clear path toward translating concepts into impacts. During the Q&A session with the faculty panel, participants had an opportunity to justify their thinking process, enhance their strategic approach, and assess whether their ideas could potentially be scaled up.

The coordination was overseen by Dr. Mohammad Faisal, Dr. Upasna Saxena and Bharat Kumar Singh, Assistant Professor, who were supported in their efforts by student volunteers from the Entrepreneurship Cell. In addition to being evaluators, faculty members served as mentors; therefore, the environment remained supportive while maintaining a high level of academic rigor. Through this combination of student excitement and academic discipline, the team created an appropriate balance during each of the two events – the showcase event and the pitch event.

Participants expressed appreciation for the chance to showcase themselves in an official capacity. Several stated that through the process of developing their pitch, they had developed a better grasp of the core concepts of running a business, engaging with an audience, and strategically communicating; all which will be equally valuable to both future media professionals and entrepreneurs. It was evident that the theme struck home — innovation alone cannot succeed unless it is thoughtfully executed and produces measurable results.

VentureVista 2026 is an important part of the school’s schedule of experiential learning programs. It combines both creative processes with structured evaluations; thereby confirming Amity School of Communication’s goal of developing graduates who are able to think independently, innovate boldly and make a positive impact on the entrepreneurial community. As well, the results of this edition have generated interest in continuing to develop and implement similar platforms in the next academic year, enabling even more students to receive hands-on experience.

By the time students had finished for the day, they were able to come away with better ideas, positive feedback from other students, and a sense of self-assurance in their ability to turn their creative thoughts into successful ventures. With initiatives such as this, the school will continue to motivate its students to go beyond brainstorming to create a positive impact on the business world and on communication.
