Modernization the way forward for policing – CM Yogi

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi) said that if modernization does not happen, the police force will lag behind. Which will have a dangerous effect on the rule of law. We have to follow the principles of smart policing that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had told in the DG conference. Police will have to be mobile along with being modern.

They will have to be accountable along with being alert, responsible along with being reliable and techno-savvy along with being physically trained. Yogi (CM Yogi) was addressing the program of flag off of upgraded PRV and distribution of AC helmets to traffic personnel under the second phase of UP 112 at his official residence on Thursday.

He (CM Yogi) praised the police force and said that in seven years the state police has established its new identity in the country. UP has also got a new identity. The world is watching the rule of law established in the state in seven years. This has increased the respect of the police.

It has helped in reaching new possibilities of investment and business and new heights of development and employment. With the establishment of the rule of law, Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the second largest economy of the country.
