Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj, has issued certificates to all candidates who were declared successful in the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 conducted under Advertisement No. 01/2026.
Commission Chairman Dr Prashant Kumar said successful candidates can download their certificates through the link available on the commission’s official website by entering their roll number and date of birth.
The UPTET 2026 written examination was conducted on July 2 and 3 in two shifts each and on July 4 in one shift, covering a total of five shifts. The examination was held smoothly at 955 centres across 60 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Three shifts were conducted for the upper-primary level and two for the primary level.
The results were declared on August 26, 2026.
Over 13 Lakh Candidates Qualify
At the primary level, covering Classes 1 to 5, a total of 7,13,648 candidates appeared for the examination. Of these, 5,71,435 candidates, or 80.07 per cent, were declared successful.
At the upper-primary level, covering Classes 6 to 8, 10,57,021 candidates appeared, of whom 7,59,513 candidates, or 71.85 per cent, qualified.
Dr Prashant Kumar said certificates for all successful candidates have now been issued following the declaration of the results. Candidates can access the certificate download facility through the link provided on the official UP Education Service Selection Commission website by entering their roll number and date of birth.
For the convenience of candidates, the certificates will also be made available through DigiLocker at the earliest.

Congratulating all successful candidates, Dr Prashant Kumar said clearing the Teacher Eligibility Test was an important achievement for those seeking to advance their careers in the teaching profession.
He said the commission was committed to ensuring that all examination- and certificate-related processes were completed in a transparent, convenient and candidate-friendly manner within the stipulated timelines.
The issuance of certificates marks the completion of an important post-result process for thousands of candidates who qualified the UPTET 2026 examination.
