Saqib Saleem talks about his Behind the Scenes Adventures

Mumbai: Actor Saqib Saleem recently opened up about stepping into the role of a producer for his upcoming film, Baby Do Die Do. Co-produced alongside his sister, Huma Qureshi, under their banner Saleem Siblings Production, the project marks Saleem’s maiden venture behind the scenes. Ahead of the film’s theatrical release, the actor-producer shared a humorous reflection on his experience, jokingly comparing the non-stop demands of production to working in a call center due to the endless stream of phone calls from directors, distributors, marketing teams, and public relations representatives.

Expressing deep admiration for seasoned producers, Saleem noted that the logistical demands of filmmaking can feel practically impossible, describing the entire journey as deeply humbling. Injecting a bit of sarcasm into his remarks, he playfully invited the audience to send in promotional ideas for the movie, quipping that he has very little else to do at the moment.

Baby Do Die Do is described as an unconventional, character-driven narrative that blends sharp satire, absurdity, and emotional depth. Through this production, the sibling duo aims to break away from traditional storytelling tropes, offering audiences an original voice in Hindi cinema. The highly anticipated film is scheduled to hit theaters on July 3, 2026.
