Uttar Pradesh Information Department Launches Official YouTube Channel ‘Suchna Pravah’

Bareilly/Lucknow: In a significant step towards strengthening digital communication and public outreach, the Uttar Pradesh Information and Public Relations Department has launched its official YouTube channel, ‘Suchna Pravah’, aimed at providing citizens with authentic, timely and comprehensive information about government initiatives and development activities.

The channel was formally inaugurated at Lok Bhavan by Vishal Singh and Arvind Kumar Mishra. The launch ceremony was attended by film producer Abhay Kumar Srivastava, Film Production Manager Sandeep Pandey, along with other officers and employees of the Information Department.

‘Suchna Pravah’ will serve as the official digital platform of the Information and Public Relations Department, showcasing the Uttar Pradesh government’s welfare schemes, development projects, key policy decisions, achievements, public-interest programmes and governance initiatives. The platform will also regularly feature documentaries, special reports, inspirational videos, government campaigns and coverage of important events produced by the department.

Speaking on the occasion, Director Information Vishal Singh said that digital media has emerged as one of the most powerful tools of mass communication in the modern era. He noted that the new YouTube channel would act as a strong bridge between the government and the public by delivering reliable and verified information in a simple, accessible and engaging format.

Additional Director Arvind Kumar Mishra emphasized that the department is continuously adopting modern technologies to expand the scope of public communication. He said the channel would help showcase Uttar Pradesh’s development journey, welfare programmes and governance achievements to a wider audience while ensuring that citizens receive accurate and timely information about government schemes.

Officials said that ‘Suchna Pravah’ is expected to become an effective medium for disseminating information related to public welfare and government accomplishments. The initiative is also aimed at enhancing transparency and strengthening communication between the state administration and the people.

With the launch of the channel, the Information Department has taken another step toward leveraging digital platforms to make government information more accessible, interactive and citizen-centric.
