Lucknow: A thought-provoking session themed “India’s Mind, Body, and Soul” was organized by FICCI FLO Lucknow at the Taj Mahal Hotel in Lucknow, bringing together prominent voices from the fields of culture, health, and public life to discuss India’s evolving identity and holistic well-being.
The event featured BJP National Spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Sudhanshu Trivedi as the keynote speaker, while renowned healthcare expert Dr. Mayank Somani addressed crucial issues related to preventive healthcare and balanced living.
Speaking at the session, Dr. Somani highlighted the growing need for preventive healthcare in today’s fast-paced world. He emphasized that regular health check-ups, mental stability, and a balanced lifestyle are essential amid rapidly changing lifestyles and rising stress levels. He also urged people to avoid unnecessary pressure and focus on maintaining both physical and emotional well-being.
Addressing the audience, Sudhanshu Trivedi said India is emerging as a global force not only economically but also culturally and spiritually. He remarked that the nation’s greatest strength lies in its deep-rooted cultural values, family traditions, and holistic outlook towards life.
He observed that people in India are increasingly becoming conscious of mental peace, healthy living, and emotional resilience, helping shape a spiritually enriched society. Reflecting on the idea of consciousness, he stated that while the brain acts as a receiver, consciousness itself transcends material understanding.

Speaking on the dignity and role of women in Indian culture, Trivedi said that Indian traditions place women at the highest pedestal, revering them as the embodiment of energy and strength, as reflected in festivals like Navratri.
He further noted that the concepts of mind, body, and soul are deeply rooted in Vedanta philosophy, adding that the unity of the soul and the ultimate reality cannot be fully explained through Artificial Intelligence alone. Referring to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said several initiatives have been undertaken to ensure greater respect and opportunities for women in society. He also highlighted India’s leading position in the field of digital transactions globally.
The session was conceptualized by Simran Sahni, Chairperson of FICCI FLO Lucknow, while Jyoti Diwan conducted the proceedings. Former FLO chairpersons, including Arushi Tandon, Swati Verma, and Vibha Agarwal, along with members of the executive committee and distinguished guests, were present at the event.
The programme concluded on an inspiring note, with attendees describing it as a meaningful initiative promoting mental wellness, cultural consciousness, and India’s holistic development.
