New Delhi: ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited has launched the ICICI Prudential Life BSE Enhanced Value 30 Index Fund for customers investing through Unit Linked Insurance Plans (ULIPs). The new fund aims to provide disciplined exposure to attractively valued companies from the large and mid-cap segments while supporting long-term wealth creation.
The fund follows a rule-based and transparent investment strategy focused on companies with strong fundamentals and attractive valuations. It tracks the ICICI PRU BSE Enhanced Value Index, which consists of 30 companies selected from the BSE Large & Mid-cap universe based on valuation measures such as book value-to-price, earnings-to-price and sales-to-price ratios.
According to the company, the index is reviewed and rebalanced twice every year to maintain diversification and align the portfolio with evolving market opportunities. The strategy also includes limits on sector and stock exposure to ensure balanced allocation.

Commenting on the launch, Manish Kumar said the fund offers customers a structured and disciplined way to participate in equity markets by investing in fundamentally strong yet attractively valued companies. He added that the approach is designed to help investors remain confident during volatile market phases while benefiting from long-term value opportunities.
As of March 30, 2026, the ICICI PRU BSE Enhanced Value Index delivered annualised returns of 32 percent over three years, 28.9 percent over five years and 19.4 percent over ten years.
The fund will be available through several ULIP products, including ICICI Pru Signature Assure, SmartKid Assure and Smart Insurance Plan Plus, combining long-term market participation with life insurance protection.
