Mumbai: Actor Pardeep Singh Toor, who is currently winning attention for his role as Sunny in Tu Juliet Jatt Di, produced by Dreamiyata Entertainment, is navigating the growing spotlight with a sense of balance and introspection. In a candid conversation, the actor opened up about handling fame, dealing with self-doubt, and staying connected to his roots.
Speaking about the pressures that come with public attention, Pardeep shared, “I try to remember that fame is only one part of life, not the whole of it. Staying rooted in my work, my values, and the people who know the real me helps me handle public attention with a calmer mindset.” Like many in the industry, he admits that tough phases are inevitable but believes in resilience. “What keeps me going is the belief that every difficult phase is temporary, but growth lasts. I focus on the work itself, stay patient, and remind myself that persistence matters more than instant results,” he said. Opening up about self-doubt, Pardeep acknowledged that it’s a universal experience for creatives. “Yes, self-doubt is natural, and I think every creative person experiences it at some point. I handle it by continuing to work, trusting the process, and not letting a temporary feeling define my worth.”
Despite a demanding schedule, the actor makes conscious efforts to disconnect and recharge. “I make sure to create space for myself away from work by spending time in meditation, doing pooja, and traveling whenever I can. These things help me feel calm, centered, and recharged.” For him, family and close friends remain his anchor. “No matter how far life takes you, it’s essential to never forget your roots and where you came from. Remembering your journey keeps you humble and grateful.”
On dealing with criticism in the age of social media, Pardeep maintains a balanced outlook. “I try to take constructive criticism seriously and ignore noise that is only meant to provoke. Social media can be loud, so I remind myself not to let opinions from strangers outweigh the truth of my own journey.”

Prioritizing well-being is another key aspect of his routine. “I strongly believe in loving yourself and taking care of your well-being. I stay healthy, go to the gym regularly, and focus on both my mental and physical health. When your mind and body are in good shape, everything else falls into place.” He also believes in starting the day with intention. “A simple reminder like, ‘I am prepared, I am enough, and I will give my best’ can set the tone for confidence and focus.”
Talking about maintaining his individuality beyond his work, he added, “I try not to let my work completely define me, because I’m more than one role or one public image. Keeping other parts of life alive helps preserve my identity.”
Reflecting on his journey so far, Pardeep concluded with a grounded perspective: “The biggest lesson fame has taught me is humility. It has shown me that success is temporary, but character, gratitude, and the way you treat people are what truly last.”
