Akhil Jyot 2026 Observed in Lucknow, Honouring Legacy of Service and Compassion

Lucknow: Akhilesh Das Gupta School commemorated the death anniversary of its founder, Late Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta, with solemnity and reverence through the observance of Akhil Jyot 2026, a day dedicated to service, compassion, and social responsibility.

Organised under the aegis of the Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta Trust, the event paid tribute to the founder’s enduring vision of inclusive growth and humanitarian values.

Marking the occasion, a series of meaningful initiatives were undertaken. A Green Anthem Donation Drive was organised to support underprivileged communities, reinforcing the spirit of care and giving. In addition, a tree plantation drive was conducted on the school campus, promoting environmental awareness and responsibility among students.

Extending the outreach beyond the campus, a special programme was held at a pre-primary school in Fazullaganj, Barabanki, where young children participated in engaging and interactive learning activities, making the initiative impactful and community-oriented.

The event also featured informative workshops on parenting styles and inclusive education. Renowned neuropsychiatrists Dr. Abhinav Srivastav and Dr. Swati Sailly Srivastav shared expert insights on mental health, parenting approaches, and the importance of inclusive education, guiding parents and educators towards fostering a supportive environment for children.

The programme served as a heartfelt tribute to the ideals of Late Dr. Akhilesh Das Gupta, inspiring students, teachers, and the community to embrace kindness, inclusivity, and selfless service in their daily lives.
