56th ‘Ram Rath Shravan Ayodhya Yatra’ Sets Off from Sarojininagar, Echoes with Devotion

Lucknow: The spiritually vibrant atmosphere of Sarojininagar came alive on Wednesday as the 56th edition of the ‘Ram Rath Shravan Ayodhya Yatra’ commenced, drawing devotees from across the region. Initiated by MLA Dr Rajeshwar Singh, the yatra has emerged as a powerful symbol of faith, culture, and social harmony.

The journey began from Gram Sabha Kurauni, with devotees setting out towards Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Ram. The departure turned into a grand celebration, marked by drumbeats and chants of “Jai Shri Ram,” filling the air with devotion.

For nearly three years, this initiative has connected people with Sanatan values, evolving into a significant spiritual movement. More than a pilgrimage, the yatra serves as a bridge of faith, enabling devotees—especially from marginalized sections—to seek blessings with dignity and ease.

With well-organized arrangements for food, rest, and travel, the yatra reflects discipline and inclusivity. As it continues its journey, the Ram Rath Yatra stands as a testament to enduring faith and collective unity, inspiring future generations to stay rooted in their cultural and spiritual heritage.
