Lucknow: In a significant breakthrough, the Dubagga police have arrested a rape accused who had been absconding for the past two months. The arrest was made during a special operation launched in the Dubagga police station area.
Acting under the guidance of ACP Kakori and led by Dubagga Station House Officer Abhinav Kumar Verma, a police team — including Sub-Inspector Rai Bahadur — successfully traced and apprehended the accused, who had been evading arrest despite continuous efforts by law enforcement.
Following the arrest, the accused was sent for a mandatory medical examination, after which the process of sending him to jail has been initiated. Police officials stated that the campaign against absconding criminals will continue with the same intensity in the coming days.
