‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ – A Symbol of Pride and Self-Respect: Dr. Leena Mishra

Balika Vidyalaya Inter College, Moti Nagar, Lucknow, Hosts Patriotic Activities

Lucknow – Balika Vidyalaya Inter College, Moti Nagar, Lucknow, celebrated the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with a series of patriotic events aimed at instilling national pride among students.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Leena Mishra said, “Har Ghar Tiranga is more than a government ritual – it is an opportunity for every Indian to proudly hoist the national flag at home, feel a deep emotional connection to it, and honour the countless freedom fighters and soldiers who gave their lives for its glory.”

As part of the programme, the school organised a Rangoli Competition and Poster Making Competition under the guidance of Ragini Yadav, with support from Seema Alok Varshney, Shalini Srivastava, Manjula Yadav, and Ritu Singh. Students created beautiful artworks reflecting the theme of Har Ghar Tiranga.

Poster Making Competition Winners:

  • 1st Place – Shalini Pal (Class 11)
  • 2nd Place – Shilpi Yadav (Class 11)
  • 3rd Place – Ilma (Class 8)

Rangoli Competition Winners:

  • 1st Place – Asra & Soumya (Class 9)
  • 2nd Place – Saloni & Durga (Class 11)
  • 3rd Place – Divya & Afroz (Class 11)
  • Dr. Mishra congratulated and blessed all the participants, announcing that the winners will be felicitated during the upcoming Independence Day celebrations.
