Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was shot dead by unknown assailants in Jaipur on December 5, 2023. After a few hours, Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility for his murder. In this murder case, a charge sheet was presented in the special court on June 5 this year, in which Rohit Godara was described as the mastermind. Apart from this, Goldie Brar and Virendra Charan, among others, are accused of plotting the murder. All of them are associated with the Bishnoi gang. Bishnoi’s strong criminal gang is active across the country. In September 2023, the gang took responsibility for the murder of Khalistani supporter Sukha Duneke.
Actor Salman Khan has been on the target of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who has become synonymous with terror from India to Canada and America, for the last six years. Lawrence first sent gangster Sampat Nehra to Mumbai to do a recce of the actor and plot to kill him. Earlier, when Salman had bid on a horse auction in Haryana, even then the Lawrence gang was keeping an eye on the actor.
Lawrence had told during interrogation that he had sent a message to Sampat Nehra in 2018 that Salman Khan has hurt the religious sentiments of Bishnoi community by killing blackbuck, so he should be killed.
