Lucknow: Under the State Road Fund Scheme, the Uttar Pradesh government has released the remaining amount of Rs. 5 crore 75 lakh 46 thousand for the approved and ongoing works of a total of 07 roads in various districts of Lucknow division. The necessary government order in this regard has been issued by the Public Works Department.
In these 05 ongoing works, Rs. 02 crore 27 lakh 68 thousand for widening and strengthening work from km-1 to 16 (800) of Dhakrewa Mirijapuri Canal Service Road (Other District Road) in Lakhimpur Kheri district, Rs. 29 lakh 13 thousand for reconstruction work from km-8 of Dhakrewa Girijapuri Canal Service Road (PWD) to Jhinnapurwa link road from km-1 to 2 (305), Rs. 33 lakh 98 thousand for construction work of missing link between Jethra to Andpur link road, Rs. 75 lakh 86 thousand for widening and strengthening work from km-103 of Pilibhit Basti Road to Km-0.000 to 1.695 of Bhootnath (PWD) road, Rs. 98 lakh for construction work of link road from in front of Vinodpal’s house to Nayagaon in Lakhimpur Kheri district. 45 thousand and Rs. 45 lakh 45 thousand for the construction work of Gramdanpur to village Mudia Sampark Marg and Rs. 64 lakh 91 thousand (thus total Rs. 05 crore 75 lakh 46 thousand) has been released for widening and strengthening work in Chaneyage 30.600 to Chaneyage 31.000 and Chaneyage 34.000 to 35.000 of Mandhana Gangabarrage Shuklaganj Purva Mohanlalganj Marg (State Highway-173) in Unnao.
In the issued government order, the concerned officers have been instructed that the allotted amount should be used in every case by 31 March 2025 and the utilization certificate should be made available to the government by 30 April 2025. It has also been instructed in the government order that the financial/physical progress of the works should be properly inspected/verified at the competent level and the progress report should be made available to the government every month.
