Lucknow: Managing Director, Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC), Sushil Kumar, felicitated the best performing employees at the UPMRC administrative building. He recognized and awarded outstanding performances from Civil, Security, and Housekeeping departments for the months of June and July, and presented the ‘Employee of the Month’ awards.
On May 15, 2024, Security Guard Ganesh Soni, stationed at the Charbagh Metro Station, found a bag containing Rs 29,500 while on duty at the baggage scanning machine. Acting promptly, he handed the bag over to the station controller, ensuring the passenger received their lost belongings safely.
For July 2024, Section Engineer (Civil) (Grade-II) Naveen Yadav, who works in Business Development Cell was awarded for playing an instrumental role in successful execution of 30 tenders over the past year, generating approximately Rs 7 crore in non-farebox revenue.
From the housekeeping department, Durgesh Kashyap was recognized for June 2024 for his dedication in keeping the metro stations clean and hygienic.
