Lucknow: Under the enforcement campaign being run for effective prevention of manufacture, sale and smuggling of illegal liquor in Uttar Pradesh, today about 30 liters of illegal raw liquor and 250 kg of lahan were recovered in village Ramnagar and Naru Kheda under police station Mal in Lucknow. 01 case has been registered under relevant sections.
Giving this information, District Excise Officer, Lucknow, Rakesh Kumar Singh said that Abhishek Singh Excise Inspector Area 4, Shikhar Kumar Mal Excise Inspector Sector 6 raided suspicious houses, gardens, suspicious places on the banks of ponds in village Ramnagar and Naru Kheda under police station Mal. During the raid, about 30 liters of illegal raw liquor and 250 kg of lahan were recovered from the spot. While destroying the lahan on the spot, 01 case was registered under relevant sections of the Excise Act.
During the raid, constables Pradyumna Kumar Srivastava, Sudhir Kumar, Govind Yadav, Amit Chaudhary, Sandeep Yadav, Reshma, Sujit etc. were present in the excise team.
