26 carved statues will increase attraction of devotees

Prayagraj: This time, devotees coming from all over the country and abroad to Maha Kumbh are going to witness the divinity and supernaturalness of ancient Indian culture. No matter which mode of transport you use to reach Prayagraj, Arjun, Garuda, Nandi, Airavat and Maa Ganga along with Shravan Kumar himself will be present to welcome you.

These 26 carved statues of mythological importance are going to be the main center of attraction for the domestic and foreign devotees coming to Maha Kumbh, the work of installing them on 26 major intersections of Prayagraj is going on in full swing on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Statues will attract devotees

As per the wishes of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, preparations are underway to make this year’s Maha Kumbh divine, new and grand. Under this, carved statues of mythological and Indian cultural importance are being decorated at the main intersections of the city. Apart from Arjun, Garuda, Nandi, Gada, there are many such statues including Maa Ganga which will attract devotees. SDM Mela, Abhinav Pathak told that under this scheme, on the instructions of Yogi government, 26 intersections are being given a special attractive shape. Work has been completed on 06 of these intersections. Also, a target has been set to complete the work of the remaining 20 intersections within a week.

26 major intersections are being decorated in this way in Mahakumbh

In Mahakumbh, work is going on to decorate 26 special intersections of Prayagraj with 26 carved statues. Under this, Arjun’s statue at DPS intersection, Nandi’s statue at Airport intersection and Mother Ganga will be seen riding in a boat while performing Aarti at Harshvardhan intersection. Apart from this, a mace has been displayed in Phaphamau. The horse of Samudra Manthan is also going to be a special attraction of Mahakumbh. The statue of India’s great emperor Samudragupta will especially attract devotees. Apart from this, the statue of Major Dhyan Chand, Airavat along with Shravan Kumar is also being decorated at Naini Chowki intersection. At the same time, devotees coming from all over the country and abroad will be stunned to see Muni bathing in Alopi Bagh.

Traffic management is being done in a scientific way

About 45 crore devotees are expected to come to Prayagraj for Maha Kumbh. To ensure that such a large number of devotees do not face any inconvenience in commuting, traffic management is being studied in a scientific way. The work related to this is in its final stage at most of the intersections.

Beautification of intersections has picked up pace

In preparation for Maha Kumbh, the work of beautification of the holy place Prayagraj is going on at full speed. Complete arrangements are being made to show cultural and environmental diversity here. Whatever designs are being prepared at the intersections, green belts are also being developed for the well-being of the horticultural environment.
