Lucknow: The Dastak Youth Festival entered its second day with electrifying performances, creative expressions, and an enthusiastic crowd of over 200 students from more than 50 colleges. The festival hall resonated with applause as young talents showcased their skills across multiple events.
The group dance performances were a splash of colors, with energetic renditions on Holi and travel-themed songs, captivating the audience. Group song competitions saw spectators swaying to melodies while cheering on the performers.
Students exhibited their artistic creativity through poster making, cartoons, college and face painting, with themes revolving around water conservation, tourism, and environmental awareness. Stand-up comedy acts had the audience roaring with laughter, while film review competitions provided insightful critiques on popular web series and films.
A major highlight of the day was Ad-Mad, where participants created and presented advertisement films on making Uttar Pradesh a prime youth tourism hub.

The festival also saw the participation of eminent personalities from various creative fields as judges and mentors. Among them were:

Upcoming Events on the Final Day
The grand finale on March 2 promises an array of exciting competitions, including extempore speech, solo dance, stage plays, and mime acts. A special short film screening on menstrual hygiene and a presentation of three-day competitions in reel-making, news reporting, and photography will also take place.
A heritage and culture quiz on Uttar Pradesh will be held at 11 AM at Sant Gadge Auditorium, conducted by the well-known quiz master Kunal Sawarkar, with attractive cash prizes up for grabs.
The event will conclude with a dance-drama performance of “Haman Hai Ishq Mastana” by Preeti Tiwari’s team, promising a grand finish to the cultural extravaganza.
The three-day festival is being organized with the support of Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, WaterAid, and Indian Bank. The festival’s key organizers, including Veena Rana, along with a dedicated team of volunteers like Ayub, Yashit, Ishan, Alok, Shreya, Mallika, and Ashmit, have worked tirelessly to make this celebration of youth talent a grand success.
