Young art thespians show their artistic rigour

Lucknow: The State Museum located in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, organized a three-day program and did a commendable job in spreading awareness about the meaning of being a museum across the city. In this three-day event, exhibition and puppet performance based on photographs of unique original artefacts of State Museum, Lucknow were organized at major public places of the city.  In the painting and sketching competition, about 50 students from Faculty of Architecture and Planning, APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University Lucknow, Goyal College of Art Lucknow, Techno College of Institute Lucknow and College of Art Lucknow displayed their canvases using the sculptures collected in the State Museum.

Chief guest in the program Dr. Vandana Sehgal, Principal/Dean, Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University and Director of the State Museum, Dr. Srishti Dhawan, PCS Lucknow, Director of the Museum were present. 3 students, Utkarsh Gupta, Shivam Tripathi and Abhinandita Gupta were awarded the incentive award. Girish Pandey, Bhupendra Kumar Asthana, Dheeraj Yadav, Ratnapriya, Shubha Tripathi from the faculty were present in the ceremony.
