Writer-Composer Bhrigu Parashar Teams Up with Armaan Malik for ‘Gaya Kaam Se’

Mumbai: Composer-lyricist and playback singer Bhrigu Parashar has joined forces with popular singer Armaan Malik for the new Hindi contemporary pop single ‘Gaya Kaam Se’. The song, written and composed by Bhrigu, with additional lyrics by Armaan, has struck a chord with listeners and has crossed 4 million views, continuing to attract audiences with its breezy sound, memorable melody and relatable take on love.

‘Gaya Kaam Se’ marks the first full-fledged original collaboration between Bhrigu Parashar and Armaan Malik. The two artists had earlier worked together on the film song ‘Yaari Yahi Hai’, but their latest release brings them together on an original composition.

The song was written and composed by Bhrigu especially as a birthday release for Armaan Malik. Built around the warmth of falling in love and the carefree emotions associated with it, the track also serves as a musical gesture towards Armaan’s strong connection with his fans.

The official music video features Armaan and Bhrigu alongside members of Armaan’s fan community, popularly known as the Armaanians. Directed by Daboo Malik and Hashim Bachooali, the song was unveiled with a cake-cutting celebration on set.

The music production and mixing have been handled by Neil Andrew, while Rahul Sharma of Studio 504 served as the recording engineer. The track was mastered by Motion in the UK, with Amaal Mallik serving as music supervisor.

Talking about the collaboration, Bhrigu Parashar said that he felt Armaan’s voice was naturally suited to the emotion he wanted to convey through the song. He described the experience of hearing Armaan interpret his composition as one of the most memorable moments of his musical journey and expressed hope that listeners would connect the song with their own stories.

Armaan Malik said the song reminded him of the uncomplicated and carefree emotions associated with falling for someone for the first time. He praised Bhrigu’s songwriting and said he hoped the two would collaborate on more music in the future.

Bhrigu Parashar has built a career spanning Bollywood, independent music and commercial projects. A graduate of the Audio Production programme at SAE Institute Dubai, he has trained in Indian classical music under Ustad Ghulam Abbas Khan and Western vocals under Jennifer D’Souza.
