UP is currently bandit-free, ransom-free: DGP
DGP Prashant Kumar said about UP Police that it remains busy in operational activities. But UP Police has done excellent work in every aspect of training, recruitment. In the last eight years, the state has become bandit-free and ransom-free. There has been a vast improvement in law and order in the state. Eight years ago, the response time of UP 112 was 40-45 minutes, which is now 8-9 minutes.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given great relief to the farmers of flood-affected areas. For the first time, he has set a new record by giving assistance money to farmers to remove silt deposited in the fields due to floods. This is the first time in the history of Uttar Pradesh that a Chief Minister has given compensation to farmers for removing silt from the fields.
