Lucknow: The University of Lucknow and the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, represented by its Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster cooperation in education, research, and skill development. Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, Vice Chancellor, University of Lucknow and Prof. Birgit Nørrung, the Head of Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and former chair of the European Food Safety Authority Panel on Biological Hazards, signed the MoU in a virtual ceremony. The University of Copenhagen, founded in 1479, is one of the world’s top universities, best known for producing 10 Nobel laureates, 37 Prime Ministers, and 34 Olympic medals for Denmark.
