Lucknow: The first Bada Mangal of Zero Waste Month concluded with grandeur and cleanliness
The preparations that were made to make Bada Mangal’s Bhandaara a zero waste one under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner Inderjit Singh, their results were visible after the first Bada Mangal Bhandaar was successfully concluded.
Bhandaras were organized by the city residents by following the prescribed rules and conditions by registering in large numbers. People completed the registration process through Lucknow One App and LMC’s portal along with the toll free helpline numbers of the control room.
Bada Mangal concluded with zero waste and cleanliness, the appeal made by the Municipal Corporation to make it plastic free was seen to be followed 100 percent and plastic free Bhandaaras were organized by almost all the Bhandaara organizers.
Along with this, after the event, the Bhandaara site was cleaned in the same way as it was before the Bhandaara. Along with this, garbage collection, segregation and lifting etc. were also ensured on time after the Bhandaara. In the upcoming Bhandaars too, the Municipal Corporation will provide its full services in public interest.
