Rs 300 crore received for training programs run by UP Skill Development Mission and Project Praveen run for students studying in secondary schools
Lucknow: To fulfill the resolution of overall development of the state and connecting the youth with skill development and employment, the Yogi government presented a supplementary budget of Rs 12,209.93 crore in the Assembly. This budget was presented by Finance Minister Suresh Khanna.
U.P. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Kapil Dev Agarwal said that in this supplementary budget, an additional provision of Rs 200 crore has been made for employment and entrepreneurship based training programs being run by UP Skill Development Mission. The objective of UP Skill Development Mission is to increase the efficiency of the youth of the state by providing them modern, employment oriented and entrepreneurial training.
Minister Agarwal also informed that a separate provision of Rs 100 crore has been made to provide short-term training to the students of secondary schools under the Project Praveen program. The aim of Project Praveen is to equip the students with technical and vocational skills, so that they can get better employment opportunities in future.
Through this budget, vocational education, skill development and entrepreneurship will get a new dimension in the state. This budget will not only provide excellent training and employment opportunities to the youth, but will also accelerate the economic development of the state. Programs like Skill Development Mission and Project Praveen will also promote entrepreneurship in the state and strengthen vocational education.
This important budget of the Yogi government will give the youth of the state a great opportunity to become self-reliant. Along with this, this budget will provide a new direction to the all-round development of the state.
