Lucknow: In a swift and decisive action, the Thakurganj Police, under the leadership of Station House Officer (SHO) Shrikant Rai, arrested two individuals for performing life-threatening stunts on a busy road near the historic Ghanta Ghar. The reckless behavior not only endangered their own lives but also posed a serious threat to public safety in one of the city’s most crowded areas.
According to reports, the accused were driving a Mahindra Thar and engaging in dangerous stunts, including sharp turns, sudden brakes, and high-speed maneuvers, causing panic among pedestrians and other motorists. The incident took place during peak hours when the area was bustling with traffic and daily commuters. Eyewitnesses reported that the vehicle was swerving dangerously close to people, creating chaos on the road.
Upon receiving information about the stunt activity, the Thakurganj Police acted promptly. A special team, led by SHO Shrikant Rai, was dispatched to the scene. The police managed to intercept the vehicle and apprehend both individuals involved. The Mahindra Thar used for the stunts was immediately seized as part of the investigation.
SHO Shrikant Rai, known for his proactive approach towards crime and public safety, emphasized the zero-tolerance policy of the Thakurganj Police towards such reckless behavior. “We are committed to maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety of every citizen.
