Gonda: Relief material kits were distributed among flood-affected residents of Ailipersauli village in Tarabganj tehsil as authorities continued efforts to support families affected by the prevailing flood situation.
Tarbganj MLA Prem Narayan Pandey, Sub-Divisional Magistrate Savita Shukla and Tehsildar Ashutosh Pandey visited the affected area and distributed relief kits among villagers. The kits contained essential items required for daily needs, providing support to families facing difficulties due to flooding.
Villagers who received the relief material expressed their gratitude to the administration and public representatives for the assistance.
MLA Prem Narayan Pandey said efforts were being made to provide all possible assistance to flood-affected residents. He also sought information from officials about the situation in the area and stressed that the requirements of affected families should be addressed on priority.
SDM Savita Shukla said the administration was continuously monitoring relief and rescue operations in flood-affected areas. Officials have been instructed to ensure timely delivery of essential relief material and prompt resolution of residents’ problems.
Tehsildar Ashutosh Pandey also interacted with villagers to understand the difficulties arising from the flooding and briefed them about the assistance being provided by the administration.
Officials assured residents that relief operations would continue as required and urged them to follow safety guidelines issued by the administration. Villagers were also advised to immediately inform the concerned authorities of any emergency or other difficulties.
