Rihand: Meja Urja Nigam Private Limited (MUNPL), a joint venture between NTPC Limited and UPRVUNL, has declared its first interim dividend of Rs. 0.96 per share for FY 2024-25, totaling Rs. 350 crore. The company operates the 1320 MW Stage I Meja Thermal Power Project, with plans to add 5600 MW capacity. CEO Kamlesh Soni, soon to become NTPC’s Regional Executive Director, highlighted MUNPL’s focus on sustainability and innovation. Recent initiatives include an Ash Brick Plant producing 12 lakh eco-friendly bricks annually and a railway ash transportation system to enhance compliance and efficiency. These efforts align with MUNPL’s commitment to environmental stewardship, operational excellence, and long-term growth.
