Children showcase science experiments, creativity and talent during colourful closing ceremony
Raebareli: A ten-day summer camp organised at All India Institute of Medical Sciences Raebareli concluded successfully on Tuesday with a vibrant and educational closing ceremony for children.
The summer camp, held from May 18 to May 27 under the supervision of the institute’s Creche Committee chaired by Dr. Sunita Singh, featured a series of engaging and skill-building activities aimed at encouraging creativity, confidence and scientific curiosity among children.
The concluding ceremony was attended by Executive Director Dr. Amita Jain, Deputy Director Administration Colonel Akhilesh Singh and Financial Advisor Colonel U N Rai, who appreciated the efforts of the organising team and encouraged the participating children.
One of the key highlights of the programme was a science exhibition presented by the children. Young participants demonstrated interesting scientific experiments, including concepts related to water density and colour changes caused by mixing turmeric with detergent. The experiments were explained in a simple and engaging manner, reflecting the children’s growing interest in science and innovation.

The event also featured a lively fancy dress competition in which children dressed up as popular and inspiring characters such as Captain America, Kashi Bai and Mata Sita. Their performances and costumes drew applause from parents, faculty members and guests present at the event.
Several children also impressed the audience with voice mimicry performances, showcasing their confidence and artistic talent. The performances were widely appreciated by officials and parents alike.
At the end of the programme, prizes were distributed to children for their outstanding performances in various activities. Organisers said the summer camp played an important role in nurturing creativity, self-confidence and scientific thinking among children through fun-filled learning experiences.
