Students get inspiration from educational children’s films

Lucknow: On the third day of the 7-day International Children’s Film Festival (ICFF-2024) organized at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium, over 12,000 students of various schools of Lucknow enjoyed the educational children’s films of 91 countries and learned the lesson of life values and character building. Earlier, Chief Guest  Aftab Alam, Associate Vice President and Regional Content Director, Radio Mirchi inaugurated the third day by lighting the lamp. Well-known actors Anjan Srivastava, Darsheel Safari, Ali Haji and Sandeep Yadav added to the glory of the Children’s Film Festival with their presence and encouraged the thousands of students and teenagers who came to enjoy the children’s films. It may be mentioned that 501 educational children’s films from 91 countries are being screened free of cost in this International Children’s Film Festival.

In his address delivered on the occasion, Chief Guest. Aftab Alam said that every student present here is a hero in himself. To become a hero in any field, there is no need to work in films, but there is a need to become a good person in one’s own life and the films being shown here teach this to the young generation. Famous actor Anjan Srivastava, who came to encourage children in the Children’s Film Festival, said that the children studying in this school are very fortunate because they are being taught good life and moral values since childhood. He expressed his happiness that CMS is showcasing the best children’s films from around the world to teach good things to all the children. Actors, Darsheel Safary, Ali Haji and Sandeep Yadav also boosted the morale of the students.

Around 12,000 students from several schools of Lucknow and nearby areas arrived at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium and viewed children’s educational films which included A Drop of Water, Angels Never back on Earth, Over the Rainbow Bridge, When You Wish Upon a Star, A Wonderful Dream, Inside The Box,  The Night Before Christmas, Skyless Star, Angulimaal, Education its my Right, Earth is Home, Ghar Kiska Hai, Restaurant in the Town, Magic Box, The Girl Behind the Mirror etc. After watching the educational and inspirational films, most of the children felt that the moral education much more enjoyable through educational films for the children and by the children. At the International Children’s Film Festival today, students of many schools enjoyed educational children’s films, including La Martiniere Boys, Rashtriya Raksha University, City International School, Rajkiya Ashram Paddithi Balika Vidyalaya, Eminence Public School, Rajkiya Mamta School, Kasturba Gandhi Awasiya Balika Vidyalaya et.

At a press conference held in the afternoon, Film celebrities interacted with the journalists and opined in one voice that such useful film festivals create a positive impact on the tender minds of children and inspire them to have noble aims. CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi said on this occasion that this children’s film festival is an inspiration for the children teaching them the values of life and building their character. Festival Director of ICFF-2024, R K Singh appealed to the parents to motivate their children to watch educational and inspirational children’s films being screened at this Festival.
