Lucknow: On 19th September, the Hindi Diwas celebrations which were going on for the past one week concluded with the staging of a street play. Through the street play based on the theme of women empowerment, the students highlighted the horrific incidents happening in the society and raised the question of women safety and her respect from Draupadi in Dwapar Yug to today’s Kalyug.
On this occasion, Principal Professor Panzy Singh, while highlighting the importance of Hindi language, said that Hindi is a very sweet and interesting language and in Hindi we can express our feelings more easily. Along with this, Department Head Professor Neetu Sharma put forth the need of a burning issue like women empowerment in today’s era.
The main roles in the street play were played by Shraddha Raj Sharma, Shabnam Khatoon, Jahnavi Mishra, Aashi Singh, Kinjal Dwivedi, Ayesha Khan, Vanshika Mishra, Harshita Yadav, Sakshi Tiwari and Hanna Maria.
