STF Arrests Suspect with Firearms at Lucknow’s Kaiserbagh Bus Station

Lucknow: A major security operation unfolded at the Kaiserbagh Bus Station in Lucknow, where the Special Task Force (STF) apprehended a suspicious woman traveling from Meerut. The suspect was found in possession of four pistols, raising concerns about illegal arms trafficking.

Dramatic Arrest in a Moving Bus

The incident occurred on Wednesday morning when a roadways bus from Meerut’s Sohrab Gate Depot arrived at Kaiserbagh. As the bus reached its destination, multiple STF personnel stormed inside and swiftly arrested the woman, causing panic among passengers.

Suspect Identified as a Key Arms Trafficker

Sources reveal that the woman is an active member of an arms smuggling gang. She was later identified as Muskan Tiwari, a resident of Rudauli in Jaunpur. Authorities have taken her into custody at Wazirganj police station for further interrogation.

Bus Crew Witnesses the Incident

The bus driver, Mukesh, and conductor, Zahid, provided crucial details about the suspect’s journey. According to them, the woman boarded the bus in Meerut wearing a burqa. However, during the journey, she removed the burqa and wore a mask instead. She had also purchased a ₹425 ticket for the Meerut-Lucknow route.

Pre-Planned Operation by STF

The STF team was seemingly well-informed about the suspect’s movements. As soon as the bus arrived at Kaiserbagh around 6:45 AM, STF officials, including female personnel, entered the bus and took her into custody without delay.

Authorities are now investigating the origins of the weapons and whether the suspect was part of a larger criminal network. Further details are expected as the probe continues.
