Speedy prosecution of criminals in U.P. on the cards

Lucknow: The Yogi government is continuously taking concrete steps to strengthen the law and order of the state. This is the reason why the government has pushed a large number of criminals behind bars in the last seven and a half years through effective advocacy in the court.

Continuing that tradition, the Yogi government is going to establish Joint Director Prosecution Offices in 11 districts of the state to further strengthen the prosecution department of UP Police. For this, land has been allotted for the department’s office in all these districts. At the same time, a letter has been written to the government for the budget for the construction work. Construction work will be started as soon as the budget is received from the government.

Joint Prosecution Office to be built on one acre in Sant Kabir Nagar-

ADG of Prosecution Directorate Deepesh Juneja said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had given instructions to establish new joint prosecution offices in 11 districts of the state to make the department strong and capable. Reportedly, land has been allotted in 11 districts of the state, Shravasti, Chandauli, Chitrakoot, Banda, Sant Kabir Nagar, Ghaziabad, Maharajganj, Lalitpur, Sonbhadra, Auraiya and Firozabad. Sant Kabir Nagar District Magistrate Mahendra Singh Tanwar said that as per the wishes of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, 0.405 hectare i.e. one acre of land has been allotted in village Badgo for joint prosecution office and residence in the district.

The District Magistrate said that this land is registered in Gata numbers 725, 727, 728, 729 and 730. This land has also been marked by the Tehsildar. For the construction of the building on the marked land, the estimate of Rs 740.64 lakh presented by the Public Works Department Provincial Section and the estimate of Rs 793.02 lakh by the Rural Engineering Department have been made available to the Director General of Police Prosecution Directorate.

Getting the criminals punished will now be fasttracked-

ADG Deepesh Juneja said that 1 acre of land has been allotted in village Galkatwa, Pargana and Tehsil Bhinga in Shravasti for the joint prosecution office. Similarly, 0.100 hectare land has been allotted in village Dhurikot, pargana Majhwar, tehsil and district Chandauli in Chandauli, 0.050 hectare in village Taraunha Rural, pargana and tehsil Karvi in ​​Chitrakoot, 0.770 hectare in village Mawai Buzurg tehsil Banda in Banda and 0.1000 hectare land has been allotted in village Noornagar pargana Loni tehsil Ghaziabad in Ghaziabad.

Whereas 30 x 50 meter land has been allotted in district headquarters complex in Maharajganj, 20 x 30 meter land has been allotted in Had pargana and tehsil Lalitpur within Lalitpur, 2.0240 hectare land has been allotted in village Rop, tehsil Robertsganj pargana Badhar, 0.093 hectare in village Kakor Burjuj of Auraiya and 3500 square meter land has been allotted in collectorate complex in Firozabad. Construction of all these offices will further improve the prosecution process. This will speed up the legal fight against criminals and cases will be resolved quickly in the courts. At the same time, the pressure on the judicial system will be reduced and cases will be resolved quickly in a fair manner.
