Sigenergy is Redefining India’s Energy Future with AI and Smart Storage – Abhilash Borana

Preparing for Rapid Expansion in India with the “Enjoy Green Energy” Vision

Lucknow: The demand for clean energy in India is constantly on the rise, and at the epicenter of this transformation, smart AI-based energy solutions are rapidly gaining prominence. Moving in this direction, Sigenergy is poised to usher in a new energy revolution in India with its “Enjoy Green Energy” vision.

According to Abhilash Borana, CEO of Sigenergy (India), the company’s objective is not merely to offer a standalone product, but rather to provide a comprehensive, intelligent energy ecosystem—tailored to consumer needs—that renders energy usage smarter, more reliable, and more efficient.

He explained that in a market like India—characterized by fluctuating energy demand and grid instability—AI-enabled energy management and battery storage solutions play a pivotal role. Sigenergy is delivering its offerings through a “future-ready” platform that seamlessly integrates power electronics, battery storage, and EV charging solutions.

The company’s defining feature is its “AI in All” approach. According to Sigenergy, AI is not merely a feature, but the core component of the entire system. The company’s products make real-time decisions regarding energy consumption—determining precisely when to utilize solar power, when to draw from energy storage, and when to access grid electricity. This results in optimized energy efficiency, reduced electricity bills, and enhanced sustainability.

Sigenergy has curated a comprehensive product portfolio catering to India’s Residential, Commercial & Industrial (C&I), and Utility sectors. For residential applications, the company offers a range of solutions including battery-ready hybrid inverters, smart battery systems, EV chargers, microinverters, and all-in-one portable energy solutions. Meanwhile, high-capacity inverters and large-scale battery storage systems are available for C&I (Commercial & Industrial) applications, capable of catering to extensive requirements. The company is also set to launch utility-scale BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) solutions in the near future.

Sigenergy’s ‘MySigen’ app constitutes a pivotal component of its smart ecosystem. Through this app, customers can monitor—in real-time—the source and utilization of their energy, whether it is derived from solar power, battery storage, or the grid. The app also incorporates an AI module that offers intelligent recommendations and assists in optimizing energy consumption.

Abhilash Borana stated that India is a cornerstone of Sigenergy’s global growth strategy, and the company is actively working on plans for aggressive expansion within the country in the coming times. As part of this initiative, there are plans to establish a robust distribution network, alongside commencing manufacturing operations in India starting next year.

According to him, the future of renewable energy in India will be anchored in AI and advanced energy storage technologies. As the supply of renewable energy expands, there arises a corresponding need for intelligent energy management and reliable backup solutions. Sigenergy aims to spearhead these transformative shifts and guide the nation toward a smarter, cleaner, and more reliable energy future.
