Sonbhadra: On 26th September, near barrier number 1 under Shaktinagar police station area of Sonbhadra district, some rowdy boys beat up a tribal youth, urinated on him and made a video of the incident. The victim’s brother tweeted about the incident and later on Wednesday, the victim’s side reached Shaktinagar police station to register an FIR. One accused has been arrested in the case.
Additional Superintendent of Police Kalu Singh said that on 26th September at 7-8 pm, Ankit Bharti and his seven-eight companions beat up the victim Pawan Kharwar, aged about 22 years, near barrier number 1, urinated on him and made a video of it. Victim Pawan Kharwar and his brother Shiv Kharwar reached Shaktinagar police station on Wednesday and registered an FIR about the incident. The victim said that after the incident, both the brothers had gone to Vaidhan and in the meantime, they were not able to give any information to the police.
ASP Sonbhadra said that a case is being registered under stringent sections in this matter. And the main accused Ankit Bharti has been taken into custody and is being questioned and a case is being registered under stringent sections.
